Reset Button?

There seems to be a lot of people lately who would like to simply start over. Hit the 'reset' button like we used to on our original Nintendo systems. Just a simple push of a button spoiled us into thinking we could do that with lots of things. Not so. You cannot just start over in school, end a marriage, or change a career without there being some complications or consequences of some sort.

I'm not gonna lie - I've often wondered how different my life would be if I had made other decisions, worked somewhere else, or even if I had different friends and relationships. Where would I be? How would my experiences change? Would I like it better or worse?

But everything comes down to one simple fact: I'm here. Now. For whatever reason or reasons. I can only change the here and now and move on towards the future. And you know what the overwhelming thought is? That I am here - in this place - for a reason. For a time. And that God knows exactly what He is doing, no matter how many times I try to tell Him otherwise. I can't help but be OK with that. I don't like it at times, but I'm OK with it. I've had the opportunity to do so many things above and beyond expectation, that I can only wait in anticipation of what's next. And I am going to leave that to the One who has consistently taken care of me and who is able to bless exceedingly abundantly above.
